Experienced classroom based Qualified Teachers of the Deaf and TAs are available at Lancashire's school for deaf children - Ofsted Outstanding 2011-12; 2014-15; 2018-19.
Advice, monitoring and support can be provided in the following areas.

Training

Staff training is available from experienced practising Qualified Teachers of the Deaf for: -

  • Understanding Deafness and Managing Equipment.
  • Introduction to sign language/Deaf Awareness
  • Different Communication Approaches.
  • Working with Cochlear Implanted Children.
  • Ideas for Delivering the Curriculum to Deaf Children 

Training sessions can be delivered on your premises if requested.
