Well, we have arrived in the Summer Term already, though the weather would have us believe otherwise at present! We hope you have had a lovely Easter Holiday. Once again the children are back full of excitement and eager to begin our new topic - The Great Outdoors. 

During this topic we will be learning about the Amazon Rainforest and the array of life which can be found there. This will inspire our creative writing and we will be working hard on creating some Rainforest poetry. In History we will be learning about the Mayans - who they were and how they lived their life. This term will also see us have Arts Week where we have some dance and music specialists coming in to work with us. We will be going swimming and, coinciding with our Great Outdoors topic, we are lucky to be off on our residential to Hothersall Lodge. So much to look forward to!
